I had already taken this pure butter stand out of the kitchen and had stored it away so I thought it would be perfect to fill this spot.
I stuck a plant in an old clay pot, a vintage cow creamer and a seltzer bottle on top.
I like being able to just shop the house to create a new vignette.
I still have a plate of keys sitting here.
I also found a replacement light fixture for the overhead light. This one was ordered from Restoration Hardware while they had a lighting sale last month. I like a little industrial look mixed in. Some day I need to paint this ceiling, but oh how that kills my neck.
I also took this vintage copper piece from the kitchen and added it above the picture. I have some new vintage copper molds to show you soon.
It's crunch time to get rid of all the dust, vacuum and mop the floors, and make sure the bathrooms are clean. Something exciting is happening here on Monday.
Enjoy your weekend!

Kim, your the vignette queen! They're always beautiful!!

Hi Kimmie! I just love that piece of art. I remember it in your dining room! I love how everything looks. Now I'm just falling out of my chair laughing. I went antiquing yesterday and guess what came home with me? That same little cow creamer! LOL I saw it and totally fell in love with it. I love everything you do.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia :)
Such a darling vignette, I love it! :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks pretty Kim and I love your new light!

You are one amazing vignette creator, girl!!! I love this one, you have the bEST stuff!!! Love the overhead light too. Now you have me wondering if someone is coming to stay???? HMMMM I'll be back to find out!!! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove it, Kim! The Pure Butter piece is really special, but you've done a great job making it stand out even more with the great items you surrounded it with. Each item is a conversation piece, which makes that little space have a lot of pizzazz. My neighbor who moved gave me a bunch of copper molds. I am pondering what to do with them, since my one little kitchen wall is a dark color. Maybe seeing what you do with yours will inspire me! Can't wait to see what's cooking on Monday!
ReplyDeleteOh Kim, I love it. The Pure Butter stand is a perfect base for the cow.
ReplyDeleteYou have such style. Sure you don't want to come out to beach of sunny California to help me with my house?
Another pretty vignette, Kim! I just love how you move things around and create such great new looks! Hope you're having a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteKim. LOVE your vignette and that light fixture is amazing! Industrial with style! You sure know how to mix things together and come up with a signature style that is fabulous! LOVE a little green in a vignette!

ReplyDeleteI really like your vignette. The cow with a real bell is so unique. I also love the picture above, and the copper piece above. Why is it we (some of us) need to hang something above a picture? lol Paula

ReplyDeleteI enjoy looking at your blog. I too love the pure butter "platter", have been trying to locate one for years. Today we went antiquing and I saw your little cow creamer with the bell....I now have one! Love it! I told the owners of the shop, I just saw this on a blog this morning! I've never noticed them before, but Thanks to blogging I find lots of things I love! Too cute!

ReplyDeleteIt's lovely Kim! I need to paint some rooms and ceilings in my house and I dread doing those ceilings. It never bothered me 10 years ago - but now - ugh.

ReplyDeleteI love shopping my house....which probably says that I have too much stuff! But just moving things around can be like getting new stuff huh!
