A New Find Used in a New Way

3.02.2014

While shopping at the antique mall last Saturday where I found my pastoral painting, there were a few other things that I purchased.

This grain sack thing was laying in a booth and I picked it up to see what it was.

I looked at it trying to figure it out and then I looked at the tag.

Do you know what it is?

The tag said basket liner. Hmmm, basket liner?

I looked at it and had a different plan for it if it worked.

Even though this foot stool is already covered with an old grain sack I thought just maybe....

Yep, I put it over the stool and voila the basket liner is now a stool cover.

It's not perfect, but it works and for only $16, why not?

Don't you love finding a new purpose for and odd piece?

What have you used in new way?

Giveaway going on here.

  13. Kim, you just have to look at something, and not knowing what it is, doesn't stop you from brainstorming, guessing, wondering, hypothesizing what YOU could make it! Kudos for your creativity!

    1. Oh that's okay. I was just showing that you can find other uses for things you find out thrifting. I don't even have it on the stool anymore.
