If Chairs Could Talk

6.15.2014

If  chairs could talk they would tell you that the crazy lady of the house went chair moving bonkers the other day and not because she was bored, but because this is the way her crazy mind works. While in the midst of finishing one of the guest baths all of a sudden a chair moving frenzy took place.

This chair from the sun
room replaced the other chair that was here.

And the other chair from the sun room landed here in the sitting room in place of this chair.

And this chair has gotten so dirty that a grain sack was thrown over it.

And the little chair from the sitting room is now in the sun room with a grain sack covering it to keep the chair from getting dirty like the other chair.

And this chair moved from the other side of the room to this side.

And of course it is wearing grain sacks, too.

The kubu chair from the guest room, along with its mate, are now on this side of the sun room.

Got it? She's crazy!!
At least that is what Mr. Savvy says all the time.

Maybe this should have been titled if chairs with grain sacks could talk.

I hope all the fathers out there have a wonderful Father's Day!

  2. Got it! But I had to cheat and go back to the prior posts to keep up. ;) They look good every and each way, but now you have the added benefit of saying you got some weight-bearing exercise in (not to mention the mental calories burned form the thought process!)

Love your "musical chair" movement. No matter where they go they look awesome. I don't think I ever saw that awesome chair that you moved in the sun room. Love that chair. What a great piece. I think you need to move that over to my house. Hey just bring the whole sun room over to my house you know how I love love your sun room.

  18. I don't think you're crazy, because then that would be calling me crazy! I move stuff around all the time too. I like your musical chairs. It's nice to be able to move things around from room to room easily.

  20. Well Kim, it should make you feel better to know that all three of my ex husbands said the same about me moving furniture all the time. I will never forget that the night John Lennon was killed, while married to my first husband (father of my girls), everyone else was in bed asleep. And I was moving a wall of shelves screwed into the wall to the other side of the room, where I had to screw them in there. Yeah, I've got it too.
