Past Fall Porches

In just a few days it will officially be fall! I can't wait for cooler less humid weather with the smell of fallen leaves in the air. Yes, I love that woodsy smell. I will miss not mowing the lawn anymore until next spring, but bring fall on!

Today I am going to share the way my front porch has looked  for the last three years decorated for fall.
I only have a small porch unlike the traditional southern porches, but I make the most of it I can. this was the way it looked in 2011.

It was much simpler in 2012.

I hope you will come back on Monday when I share what my porch looks like this year.
I will be joining this fine group of ladies.
Guess what? I have met every one of these ladies in person even though we are scattered all over the country! I bet there aren't too many bloggers who can say that. It's a small world.

I hope y'all will have your front porch ready and come and link it up on Monday and it will be seen on all six blogs.

Enjoy the weekend!

How I miss the Sonoran Desert.

  7. Hard to pick a fave Kim I'm sure 2014 will be just as beautiful!

  8. Love seeing all your past porches, and looking forward to seeing it now! Working hard on mine this weekend, but this dang rain is causing me a fit!!! :( my husband says he can cover it with a tarp until I can get it photographed! Lol Love him! Linking up Monday!!

  9. Fun to do a "look back" to see what you have done in the past.

I don't do a fall porch, but I have a bench on the side of the garage that is seen from the street and am thinking of going "fall" on the bench.

  10. Thanks for the reminder of the linky party! I will do a post now for Monday! I loved all of your porches, 2011 was my favorite:):) Yvonne and I had lunch yesterday and I saw her beautiful home again.

  12. Hi Kim,

Enjoyed this view down memory lane, or rather, porch, and look forward to your inspiring link party, although we're not anywhere near fall temps yet, and in fact, are expecting yet another heatwave tomorrow, with temps reaching 89°F on Tuesday!! So, I will admire from afar, all the fab fall porches!

  13. So much inspiration in this post already!

  14. My fall wreath incorporates a decorative item I bought in Aix-en-Provence two years ago. I would like to invite you and your readers to take a look at my front door wreath on my blog:

  15. 86 here today although the nights/mornings are cooler and the humidity has been lower. We'll be mowing for a while (hubby will that is). It's still too warm here for pansies and I'm afraid to put out real pumpkins, etc. till it cools off. Don't want them mushy or rotting!

  16. It's always fun looking back! Looking forward to the party!

  17. Hi Kim,
Always fun to look back at the past designs. Yours are always so pretty. I look forward to seeing all the wonderful inspiration.

  18. I also love the fall season! My kid's sports games and football on the weekends. Your front is lovely. I just bought some large mums for our front step. They really mean that fall has arrived (even if it is still pretty hot around here)! 2014 is my favorite btw - but they are all beautiful!

  19. Love your fall looks throughout the years. I am sure 2014 will be beautiful too!
