French Style Guest Room Christmas

12.19.2014

Just a few simple greens, Christmas pillows and baubles was all this room needed to feel festive.

I originally bought this garland from the Country Living Fair to use on my mantel or as a centerpiece on one of the tables, but some how it ended up on top of the headboard and I love it.

My vintage dough bowl is filled with an assortment of ornaments.

The Christopher Radko 2000 limited edition ornament was a gift from a friend Christmas 1999.

An old ironstone bowl holds more older ornaments and even ones made at school.

I don't have any guests coming to stay with us this year, but that didn't stop me from adding holiday cheer in the guest rooms.
There is cyber world visiting though.
:)

Happy weekend!

  12. Kim, I'm always eager to be a "guest" in any of your guest rooms. You make everything inviting and welcoming. Love the simple touches for the season. Our added some holiday cheer to our guest rooms too, though it will just be the two of us. Our holiday guests were here the beginning of the month.
Love the painting of the lady on the horse. Is that new?
Merry, Merry to you and your family.

  14. I'm so glad that you're not having any guests...because that means that your beautiful guest room will be open for me to come and visit...and stay forever! I love all of it...from the cozy pillows and throws to the Radko ornament...to the buffalo checked bed skirt! Merry Christmas, dear, sweet, incredibly talented friend. xoxo

  16. That looks GREAT, Kim. I love ALL the touches but I think the boots are a really cute little touch! I think my eyes must be deceiving me though....is that an UNPAINTED wood dresser in that room? lol I actually think it looks nice in there just as is.

Hope you are having a great pre-Christmas week. xo Diana
