Can you believe Thanksgiving is only one week away? Gosh this month is zipping on by. Before it does I wanted to share one of my two tables this year ready for my family that will be gathering together here this year. We take turns hosting and it's my turn. The holidays is really the only time I get to set a fancy table. Well, really not that fancy, but certainly not the everyday look. I'm calling it rustic with a touch of glam.
This was such an easy centerpiece. I had everything on hand except the seeded eucalyptus and the cloth napkins that I got for a steal at the Williams Sonoma outlet.
I bought these pheasants at Hobby Lobby years ago and painted them gold a couple years ago just to dress them up a bit.
The ironstone punch bowl is filled with three little pots of faux greenery from Ikea that were already on the table. I then tucked some of my dried roses in the greenery.
I am using four of these wildlife plates that I bought years ago from an etsy shop.
Each plate has a different scene.
When I placed the seeded eucalyptus out on the runner I felt it just needed something else so that's when the idea of tucking some of my dried roses in.
I love these pale blue goblets I found at HomeGoods years ago.
Since there are only four of the bird plates I used these white Limoges plates at ends of the table.
This is a shot I shared on Instagram last week. Be sure to follow me there to see things early sometimes.
Now, I need to get two candles for the silver holders, get this house clean and go grocery shopping. I ordered a big fresh turkey from Fresh Market that I will pick up on the 24th. Each guest brings a dish or two with them which makes it so much easier.
I have fifteen here this year and still have to set the other table in the breakfast room that I hope to share soon.
Are you hosting this year and how many?
