Simple Christmas in the Dining Room

12.17.2015

We're going in the dining room today where I literally just grabbed some things in my Christmas bins and just started slapping them on the table to create a simple centerpiece that adds a bit of Christmas in this room.

Last year I used the deer on my mantel and the bottle brush trees in different locations. Now they reside together on the table.

An old grain sack serves as the runner.

I used the vintage bottle brush trees I found antiquing last year.

A small lighted tree from Pottery Barn sits in my ironstone punch bowl. It's so cute when the lights come on each evening.

The hutch was looking a little plain so I added some greenery and red berries.

I love how real the berries look. I got them at a Christmas open house at a design shop a few weeks ago.

Sometimes simple is just enough.

Have a fabulous day!

  9. I had to laugh when you said you "slapped" the decorations on the table. If I did it, yes it would look it. Your table is beautiful in its simplicity.

  15. Simple is more than we need, and it's amazing here. I have used some simple unique pieces in my home this year and I so agree with you simple is enough.

My tree this year is all things made from salvage, when you visit my post you will see what I mean.
    Have a beautiful Merry Christmas.
