Simple Christmas in the Master

12.20.2015

Each year I like to add a bit of Christmas cheer in the master, but not too much. After all this is where we go to rest each night so I want it serene yet cozy. I change up what I add in here each year. Last year I added reds, but this year I basically kept the soft browns and blues and just added some winter whites and a little bling.

The two ivory knitted pillow are from Pottery Barn last year and the pillow in the front that is actually a flower print looks like snowflakes to me and it is also an old PB pillow cover.

I found these printed boxes at HomeGoods this year.

My favorite warm cozy Toms boots are worn as slippers a lot when it's cold.

I love the pewter color of these ornaments and I filled this old ironstone bowl with them.

A bottle brush wreath hangs on the old chippy door.

The big cozy throw was found for a steal at the PB outlet this year and it actually matches the pillow covers I bought last year. It's ready to wrap up in if we get some normal cold weather around here. Looks like we are going to have a warm and rainy Christmas.

My girls are coming over to make cookies today.
Enjoy your day!
