Peeks

4.11.2016

How was your weekend? Mine was a bit on the lazy side. After running to Whole Foods for flowers and a few other things on Saturday I binge watched Outlander for eight hours. Now I need to order Starz so I can continue to watch it. Direct tv knows exactly what they are doing when they offer a free weekend. Yep, hooked me!

Today I'm sharing just a few peeks in a guest room that has gone under a bit of a change to go with the rest of the house. Neutrals mixed with soft blues is the name of the game. I was going to take lots of pictures for the full reveal, but it was quite cloudy yesterday so it's just these shots I had already taken on a sunny day.

And of course a pop of color with a bucket of tulips.

Hope y'all have a fabulous week!

  7. I am obviously out of the loop - I don't know what Outlander is! We watch very little tv here. I would have to be near death to watch 8 hours!! Glad you had a lazy weekend though - you are usually working! It was so pretty here, although cooler. Nice to get out and about though. And now, it's Monday again!

  15. Love the peek! I haven't watched too much on TV recently but my husband and I binge watched Entourage a few months ago. Yeah, we were a few years behind on that one but it was fun anyway! Love the tulips by the way!

  21. Kim, I noticed the grey and white checked dust ruffle on the bed in this room. I have been looking for the exact color and size checked fabric to use on a chair I want to re-do. Did you buy or make the dust ruffle? If you made it where did you find the fabric? I'm so impatient to start the chair, but don't dare until I have enough fabric. I already have a large table cloth with that design that I want to use, but there's not quite enough. Anyway, I will look forward to more posts about this room that we've only seen "peeks" of!

    1. Naomi, it's actually more of a taupe and I did not make it. I bought it from Joss and Main or One Kings Lane years ago and it is by French Laundry Home.

Pardon !
