My Girl Turned 9

10.15.2016

Miss Bailey is always showing up on the blog due to photo bombing plus the fact that she is the only child at home. She just turned 9 on the 13th. Time sure does fly.

Bailey has had quite the year since her last birthday. She was put on strict bed rest when she developed a limp in her left hind leg.

Her leg had gotten better for a short time, but hen it was worse and she ended up with surgery for a dislocated patella. Poor baby. It was a long three months keeping her from moving too much.

Her purple cast was changed to a green one when she went back to the vet. She was in need of a haircut here, but couldn't be groomed due to the cast.

She finally healed completely and just in time for warm weather so she could run in the sprinklers.

When I'm in the sunroom this is where you will find her.

Her other favorite spot is in the sitting room when the sun is pouring in.

I really didn't want her to start taking up in this chair, but she did. I now have a grain sack on the cushion to keep the cushion clean.

We love you, girl and Happy Birthday!

  8. Happy Birthday to sweet little Bailey!!!!
Our Booger is nine this month too. We don't know what day exactly so every morning when I get him out of bed I wish him a Happy Birthday. His first six years of life weren't very good so I promised him I would make up for it when we adopted him. I tell him he gets a birthday month because he is a very special little boy :o) Gracie and Booger send Bailey lots of wet smoochies!!!!!

  16. Happy birthday to sweet, Miss Bailey! She is adorable. I love seeing pics of her as she reminds me of our toy poodle, Nettie that we had for 17 1/2 years! It was heartbreaking to lose her. Hope you are having a great weekend. Maybe on the go with Mr. Savvy???:):)

  19. I know how much you love Miss Bailey as it shows. I just received a gift from my husband of a toy white schnauzer. His name is Remington Steele but nicknamed Remy. He is 4 pounds soaking wet and has me wrapped around his little paw. They are such a part of the family and sometimes fill a very large void. Keep doing the wonderful work in blogging and keep us all posted on Miss Bailey.

  27. Happy Birthday, Miss Bailey! I love the photo of her poking out from behind the cushions, with that little spark of cuteness in the eye! I too am the proud owner of a little dog, and I believe that dogs really make a house a home.
