My favorite room to decorate for Christmas, besides the cabin style guest room I did this year, is my sunroom. This is my room a.k.a. hangout and it's the room I can let loose in with the decor. That means more color, pattern and whimsy. So get comfy because I have lots of pictures to share.
A vintage grocery basket is filled with colorful ornaments that weren't hung on a tree this year.
I still love the addition of blue in here and especially the old rickety bench used as a coffee table.
Cozy throws, grain sacks, fun pillows and decor add to the farmhouse style I love in this room.
Since I didn't drag out the tabletop trees I just filled my vintage fruit picking bucket with my other small trees that were easy to get to in the storage room.
Just a few small ornaments and one cardinal adorn the trees.
A tiny wreath of silver bells hangs from the cow. It's actually an old napkin ring.
Cute pillows are a must.
Tartan is a must, too.
More colorful pillows on the bench.
This leather chair is Merry Christmas to me......from me. It was 50% off at Pottery Barn and I have been needing a comfortable chair to sit in since I work in here and sit a lot. The size of this chair is just right.
The salvage metal fencing piece, that was my pot rack before the kitchen reno, which will be shared soon, is perfect for hanging a few grain sack stockings. A lighted tree sits in an old clay pot.
Hope you enjoyed my colorful farmhouse style sunroom decked for Christmas.
Still more to come and not much time left to share. Yikes!
