Bonus Room Progress

2.25.2017

What? You didn't know the bonus room was getting a makeover? I think I may have mentioned it, but who knows the paint fumes may be affecting me since I have been up to my eyeballs in paint again. The mister and I have been working on this room together over the last couple of weekends plus I painted on my own one day last week. If you would like to see what it looked like the first time I shared it click here. Then in 2014 it got a mini makeover and you can see that here. This time it is a much bigger makeover.

This is the other side. We cleaned out lots of stuff and carried the good things to the consignment shop and the rest went to GoodWill. This is the leftovers that I will thin out after I put the room together.

I'm swapping sides with the guest room side and the exercise side. I will get a television to hang on the wall so I can quit watching the ipad while I walk.

This weekend the florescent lights will come down, yay, and be replaced with the schoolhouse lights. The holes from the old lights will have to be patched and painted. Then the ceiling needs a second coat of paint. I hate painting the ceiling, but if we both do it it shouldn't be too bad.
Then the fun begins adding the guest room items and cleaning out the leftovers.

I'm so glad the gold walls are finally gone and
I'm so ready for this to be done!

Be sure to check out what my friends are sharing below.

  6. That would make a great guest room for your grandkids and then the adults could sleep in the other two.

  7. Ah, now I see what will be happening in here. I wish I had a space for a treadmill. We gave mine to our SIL when we moved here, but I need one!
