More Than A Peek

2.23.2017

The other day I gave y'all a small peek at my antique vaisselier that will be in my dining room in a few weeks. Many of y'all just cannot believe I'm going to replace my pretty hutch I have now. Yes, I have loved this hutch for many years and have updated it a couple of times, but I'm ready to replace it with a beautiful French antique. So I'm going to share the photos of it that were on ebay before I purchased it and you will see why I love it.

Excuse the quality of the photos since I copied these from the site.

Such pretty wood and details.

It is a bit wider and taller than the hutch I have now and should be a very nice addition.

Now, I wait, but not much longer.
The shipping company called and I'm scheduled for March 1. Yay!!!

  4. Beautiful new piece......I'm thinking maybe it would be better in your sitting room and that piece move to the dining room. The older piece is larger and would hold a ton of your china pieces!!! Not to mention all the linens!!!

    1. Actually the new one will hold more of my big pieces. The other has plate rails to where I can't fit my big piece in. I also filled the new curio cabinet with most of my ironstone. This one is the same age as the one I have.

  9. It's gorgeous and I am quite with you on changing things around. Every now and then it's fun to just completely redo a room, alter the look, a change is as good as a rest after all and of course anything from France and I am in total agreement!!
