Spring Forward and I Love Big Clocks

3.11.2017

Can ya'll believe it's time to spring forward again? It seems to come earlier and earlier. I really wish we would just set the time and leave it all year and let nature run its course. It's not fun running around the house and changing all those clocks. I do love big clocks though and the statement they make in a room.  Here are a few that I have saved on Pinterest and one of my own.

How about a gallery of clocks like these from Home Decorators

Would love to have an enamel clock like this one.

And my own clock that I made over last year. I would love to tweak it a bit if I could find some large roman numerals.

Have a fabulous Saturday and be sure to check out my friends below and my bonus room makeover if you missed it.

  3. Hi Kim,
I love your blog. Its the first one I read each day. I am thinking about buying the Pottery Barn rug you have in your dining room. How do you like it? Would it hold up in a family room?

  4. I so love big clocks, I don't have one yet, I missed the chance a few weeks ago ,it was at hobby lobby,, so I will be keeping my eye out once again. I agree with you about changing the time forward,I whis it would just stay where it is at fall back. Love your cozy guest room. Happy Saturday

  6. That's funny - I just sold my large Roman Numeral clock because I am shopping for one with Arabic numbers. We need to trade, haha. I love your clock. : - )

  7. Love big clocks too. Our clocks here don't go forward until the end of the month, so for a couple of weeks you're an hour closer to us!

  9. First I have to say the entire VintageStyleLiving.com staff loves your blog! We love big, over sized clocks too. They are so "in" right now and that'a all you see at the trade shows, huge clocks in all styles and sizes. Really love some of the ideas you posted here, especially the room with multiple fabulous clocks. Thanks for sharing!

  10. Kim, all you need to find are large black capital letters--I, V, X--to make Roman numerals.

  11. I love large clocks! They make the perfect statement! I also love old chime clocks. I'm with you on forgetting this time change every spring and fall! It is a hassle changing all the clocks, especially if you have a lot! Great inspiration photos that you shared.
