Where It Was First Intended to Be

5.25.2017

As y'all know I change things on a regular basis around here. When I purchased this cow art last year it didn't work in the breakfast room like I had hoped. It was too small and sort of lost on the wall so it moved on to another room and then another. Well, after having the new trim installed when we updated the kitchen I had a hunch it would fit properly and it does. So now it is where it was first intended to be.

I liked it in the guestroom and the master, too, but I'm glad it works here now. It's such a versatile piece.

I made the centerpiece much simpler and just filled a vintage French bread basket with lemons.

Poor Mango is blocked from this view. Yes, that's the name given by Ballard Designs. At least it's blocked by their lantern.

So for now Mango is the star of the breakfast room until.......

Oh, and this isn't the only thing that has moved around here. 😉

We also found out that my mom will go home next Wednesday!!

Wishing y'all a fabulous holiday weekend!

See what was hanging there before here.

  7. Love this picture and love it in the breakfast nook area. I hope your foot is continuing to heal and so thankful your mom has a going home date. Things seem to be headed in the right direction! On another note, Kim, I have a question. In one of your many posts back you had a picture of a dog, I think in a green vintage truck. At that time I asked you where you got it and you said minted.com. I have looked ALL OVER that site, searched, then googled "dog in vintage truck" and I cannot find it. Could you give me any clues as to how to find it? I'd love one for my home. (And I consider myself somewhat computer savvy but finding this picture is totally stumping me!)
