From Schoolhouse Light to French Chandelier

7.10.2017

Sometimes I amaze myself when an idea pops in my head and it actually turns out better than I had imagined. Yes, that is how I feel about my recent transformation to make this guest bedroom a bit more Frenchy and a bit more feminine. Going from the schoolhouse light to this French style chandelier has definitely added a more romantic feel to this room, too.
I shared how I transformed it a couple of weeks ago.

I know I just shared this guestroom ready for summer guests, but I took the photos for that post and then this idea popped in my head. So now you get to see the room with the chandy added.

I put these cute little specialty bulbs in it that I had stored away. They don't put out a lot of light, but I like lamplight better.

I moved the bench out while taking these shots and put this French market basket back that I had here before. Good place for the extra pillows.

I hope y'all have a fabulous week!

You can check out how the room looked with the schoolhouse light here.

I hope y'all will follow along on Instagram.
