Fall Front Porch

10.06.2017

Last weekend we did a lot of yard work which included adding some fresh pine bark nuggets to the beds in front of the house. We put out sixty bags and will need a lot more to do the rest of the beds. Since we are getting up there in years we can't work from dawn to dusk like we used to so things take longer.  I trimmed the bushes first and then the mulch covered up the clippings. While the yard was looking so much better I finally felt like sprucing up the front porch for fall.

Vintage items like this lettuce crate come in handy to hold some mums.

The vintage olive bucket has moved from the deck to the front porch.

Mums and pumpkins definitely say fall.

I tucked in a smaller mum in this vintage orchard picking bucket and hung it on the front door.

I hope y'all have a fabulous fall weekend!

  14. I love what you have on the door! I don't decorate in front because it isn't as pretty as in back.

  15. It looks great, Kim. You did a good job pulling Fall together on your front porch. I hear you about the amount of work it takes to keep a big yard up. I am hoping when we downsize our yard gets smaller, too!

Hope you have a great weekend- xo Diana
