It's That Time Of Year Again

10.26.2017

It's been a beautiful cooler fall week after the rain moved out on Monday. Yesterday I enjoyed a nice day out with my mom and sister and tomorrow I'm attending the Country Living Fair at Stone Mountain with my daughter. There is always so much to see and normally a few things come home with me. We had perfect weather last year and it looks like this year's will be good too with a high of 73.

This mountain of pumpkins is always on the main lawn in front of the entrance each year.

I always visit my favorite booth filled with all the things I collect....breadboards, demijohns, ironstone, antlers, etc.

It's also fun to see just how creative the vendors get.

I wish the grain sack lady would come back. She told us a few years ago that it was her last year selling at this fair and all hers were only $45 each.

My legs always start killing me before I ever get half way through, but it's so worth it.

Will you be there?

If you see me say hi!

  1. I really wanted to go this year. I thought I would be in my new home mid summer. Instead I am here unpacking. Hopefully next year if they still have it.

  7. If I lived closer I would so be there. I collect roosters, hens, the little cow cream dispensers, and an odd assortment of so many other things. Happy hunting!

  10. Hi Kim, my daughters and I will be there “with bells on!” We are doing the early bird thing this year. We love this event and come every year. We tried the Nashville show this year too but Stone Mountain is still our favorite. So much more to see! I will definitely say hey if I see you.

  16. Did it seem like there were less vendors than usual? My friend and I went. I didn't find anything that spoke to me. Hope you had fun.
