The Life of a Blogger

11.12.2017

The life of a blogger means always thinking ahead so I've been a busy beaver the past few weeks planning for Christmas this year. I have always waited until after Thanksgiving to decorate, but since I am not hosting it this year and I would like December to be less stressful I have already decorated a few spaces, mostly upstairs. I won't be sharing most of the posts until after Thanksgiving, but I thought I would share some peeks. None of this is finished as I'm still waiting on some things to arrive, and I keep tweaking things, but here are some peeks.

Just started this room and planning my Christmas table. I have no idea what I'm doing for a centerpiece. Now, I need to find some inspiration, too.

Be sure to come back tomorrow for the first Christmas space as it's part of a small specialty blog hop.

  1. Everything is looking good, Kim! I love that basket of Christmas books that you have in the children's room. I have a bazillion projects midstream right now so I hope I get it all together soon!

  4. I always love your Christmas tours, I can’t wait to see more. May I ask where you found the “not a creature was stirring” pillow? I’m wanting to do up a guest room based on the story. Thanks!

  7. It all looks great so far and I just bought Colleen that Madeleine's Christmas book:) I got my tree up and decorated today In fact JUST got done. Took me all day as it is a new tree so had to all be "fluffed" before I could start anything. It is going to feel SO good to be done ahead of time. Love all your pillows!!!

  9. The beginning of your decor looks great. Love your pillows. I have to agree with you the earlier you get the decor up for Christmas the less stressful it will be. I do not have a lot of room in the new house so my decor will not be really involved so that has me less stressed too. This time of year goes so quickly. Hope you enjoy getting all your rooms decorated early.
    xoxo
