French Farmhouse Winter Sunroom

1.15.2018

I've made some changes to the sunroom and I am loving the new look. Before there was a very large blue rug and blue patterned curtains and right before the holidays I changed out the rug and curtains.  No one seemed to notice the changes when I shared the Christmas sunroom. Another big change in here is the chandelier. I am so glad the ceiling fan is gone!

French Farmhouse Winter Sunroom

This is the chandelier that was in the dining room. I shared the new chandelier in the dining room in this post.

I LOVE this chandelier in this room and I'm so glad I found a place to use it.

The Farmhouse sign was put back in here and the pillows were changed out. I used the plaid ones on the bench for Christmas and now they are perfect on the sofa with my ticking pillows.

Tray of magazines, design books, blue and white jug filled with faux flowers bought for a steal from Magnolia Market (sorry they are sold out now) creates the perfect coffee table style.

I already had the curtain panels and they are actually too short, but you can't see them so no biggie. This new rug from Pottery Barn is so thick and soft underfoot. I caught it on sale plus free shipping and that is a win win. The blue rug went to my daughter's house.

I tucked some of my Christmas picks in this pitcher for a winter arrangement.

I'm enjoying this new look.
What do y'all think?

  10. Kim,
How did I miss the new gorgeous rug! Love all the new changes and touches you made to the sunroom. Since I am a big fan of chinoiserie décor the blue and white Chinese jar was the perfect touch to the room. Really, other than changing out the pillows, this a great look also for Spring.

  15. This room is lovely, and the large chandelier is a better fit here, and the rug and drapes pull it all together. Your new chandelier looks perfect above the dining room table. Love it all!!!!!!!!!

  16. Kim...so beautiful, welcoming and cozy. I love your style.
I'm debating about putting woven shades in my living room and dining room. Windows on the same wall with one being a patio door. Are you happy with them?

    1. Mine are just cheap ones from Lowes or Home Depot and they are only on the one wall to keep the sun out in the afternoon. I like them just fine though.

    2. Thanks. mine would also be used to block sun.

  23. The chandelier is the crowning touch for your sunroom!!! I am loving that basket tray on your coffee table that you are using to corral your magazine. Since MM is sold out, do you mind sending me the dimensions of it when you get a chance? (I have a magazine problem, too!)
