Navy and Pink Guest Bedroom for Spring

3.05.2018

Can y'all believe spring is only three weeks away? I'm ready for it and have started sprinkling bits of it around the house.
Last week I shared some navy and pink inspiration and I asked if you could guess what room I have added this color combo in. I didn't have many guesses, but today I'm sharing the room I added it to.

Welcome to my navy and pink guest bedroom for spring.

When I saw this duvet cover and shams on the Pottery Barn website I was pretty sure it would look good in this guest bedroom. These duvet covers are so reasonably priced and when they are on sale plus free shipping it's a win win. Like I have said many times before these are such simple updates for a new look.

What makes this duvet cover even better is the fact that it's reversible so I can use the navy gingham side, too for another look or even try it in the other guestroom.

With all these colors I can try several different pillows in different colors, too. I already had all the other bedding on hand. I love to add a couple of new pieces to mix with the older pieces.

This time I'm keeping the colors to blue, white and pink.

For a nice change I took down the two old oil paintings and added some plates instead from my stash.

A simple spring vignette on the side table.

And look how cute these ottomans are! Navy checks....yes, please. I found these at Target at a very reasonable price.

I saw these faux ranunculus on instagram, yes, I said faux and I went to Hobby Lobby to get some while they were fifty percent off. Flowers are a must for spring and no watering makes them even better.

I hadn't been to Hobby Lobby in months so I walked around to see what they had and found this cotton fringed throw also for fifty percent off.

I hope y'all enjoyed the navy and pink guest bedroom for spring. You may want to try these colors in your home.

None of my purchases were sponsored. Just sharing the info.

Have a great week!

  3. It is beautiful! And, I agree the Pottery Barn duvets are absolutely the best. Where did you get the wooden beads with the silver cross that is on the bedside table? I've been looking for one and I do love yours......also the one on your coffee table with the wooden heart.

    1. The cross beads and the heart beads were from two local shops. I think Sugar Boo Designs sells the heart beads on line. Thanks

  20. Kim, this is just lovely. I am a new follower and have question. I just purchased two bronze twin beds (headboard and footboard) and I want to use a bed skirt or dust ruffle around each one. But how do you get around the corners of the frame? Cutting seems not to be the best solution. Are there bed skirts made with a split at the corners to get around the frame bars? I'm eager to learn from you yet again. I learn so much from your posts.

    1. Sue, I painted that years ago and then repainted it so it is covered in layers of chalk paint.

  26. Kim no matter what style and color you do in this guest room it is always so fresh and pretty. Your guests are so pampered with this pretty room to stay. Love the touches of pink with the navy. A really nice color combo. Love that little lamb on the books where did you find him. He is too cute. The little buffalo check stools are so nice at the end of the bed too. The whole room is just so inviting and pretty.
    Happy New Week.

  28. Back again. Could you please share where you purchased the euro shams and long pillow? As well as the striped coverlet? The whole thing together really makes that bed.
    Thanks! Alisha

    1. Euros are Pottery Barn. The long pillow is by Taylor Linens. The striped quilt was from One Kings Lane last year. Thanks

  29. Kim, really beautiful. I am in awe of the many changes you can make in your guest room. This one is especially pretty with the pink. I love my wallpaper, but it does limit what can be done in a room..Happy Wednesday..Judy
