These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things

4.12.2018

I thought I would share a few of my favorite things. Things I have and use daily, something I'm dreaming of, and a sweet treat.

These All Purpose Pantry Towels from Williams Sonoma are my go to kitchen towels. A little texture on one side and terry on the other side and last time I looked they were on sale.

While watching Dr. Oz one day last year he shared a review on olive oils and said not every olive oil on the shelves 100% olive oil, but this one is. I buy mine at Publix.

I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for months. It smells sooooooo yummy! My hair dresser got me started on it. I buy mine from Nordstrom or at my salon.

I love this bed and really want to order one. It's such a statement piece and oh, so Frenchy.

And my oh my, have you tried this new Magnum ice cream. I hate to say I ate the whole thing and I need to just leave this at the store!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

  1. I've been using the Moroccan Oil Mouse, Root lifter and Setting spray for a few years now. I Love how it smells.... it works well too! Good thing I like the results as I might be tempted to just use if for the smell.

  3. Would need the room to go with that bed! Wondering where you buy the shampoo? Is it from the salon? Sounds wonderful.

    1. The link I included takes you to Amazon. I have also ordered it from Nordstrom, but it's cheaper on amazon.

  4. I think you should treat yourself to that bed, too! I use the Moroccan oil treatment on my hair from time to time but I've never tried the shampoo and conditioner.

  5. Ooh, that bed is dreamy! I love ice cream, so I need to try this, but then again maybe I don’t even need to bring it in the house!

  6. I also use a moroccan oil shampoo and conditioner (but not volumnizing as I have THICK hair). Yes to pure olive oil and no to the white kitchen towels (I use the least amount of bleach I can possibly get away with so don't want something that needs bleached) and the ice cream. I'm sure if you want the bed you will get it.

  7. Kim,
I have been using Moroccan oil shampoo, conditioner and root lifter for several years now on my hair. I love their products and its nice to know that Amazon sells it online. I buy it from a salon although its not where I get my hair cut. I have to switch up my hair products and I also get great results from Bumble & Bumble volume shampoo and root lifter.

Thank you for also featuring those great looking pantry towels from Williams-Sonoma. I have been looking for some nice quality kitchen towels for a while.

    1. Teresa, I have used Bumble & Bumble, too. My salon used to only sell B & B products and then they started carrying more.

  9. Love the wallpaper in the bedroom. Wallpaper is so in right now, I am dying to find a place where I can just add a little, so far I have it earmarked for my en suite bathroom and now I can visualise something above the bed!!

  10. interested in the Moroccan Shampoo & Conditioner - and just wanted to clarify Kim: Do you purchase yours from Amazon OR from your salon? Many of the reviews for this product (directly form the link yo provided) report that the product they got was not the same as the one they had bought directly from a salon. It is expensive on Amazon, I can't imagine what it is in a salon. It is a know fact that many of the items available on Amazon can and are counterfeit products and the reviews for this shampoo/conditioner duo seem to reinforce that.I know someone who purchased Clarisonic brushes from Amazon and they were inferior and when they complained directly to Clarisonic, Clarisonic stated that unless the product is purchased directly through them they could not guarantee it was authentic. There is no sense in spending any money thinking you are getting something you are not! I was wondering if you in fact have purchased the Moroccan duo from Amazon and did not see any difference from what you got at your salon OR were you just providing the link for our convenience so we could easily identify and purchase the product? Thanks in advance for clarification.

    1. I have not ordered this from Amazon before, but did when I found it. Darn, I will probably end up sending it back. I normally order it from Nordstrom since the shipping is free and they are $24 each so the amazon price was much better. Probably isn't the same. Poo!
