French Country Fridays 25

7.27.2018

It's Friday and that can only mean one thing....well two actually....it's tme for French Country Fridays and the weekend! I hope y'all have had a good week. It's been a bit trying around these parts getting  my mom settled in her new home, but I think she may be accepting it a bit more each day. My sister in law and I went shopping for some new clothes for her and mom has a hair appointment today at the salon at assisted living so she should be feeling like a brand new woman soon. I know I would if I had new clothes and hair after many months of hospital and rehab visits.

I don't have kids in school anymore, but I do have grandkids and I know school starts very soon here. I can't believe how early they start and it's just too soon and it's way too hot, but it is time either way.
Where did summer go?

Hope y'all will check out my friends links below and enjoy the weekend!

  2. That is good news about your mom, Kim. There's nothing to make a woman feel better than a trip to the hairdresser. When Leo's mom was in assisted living, she didn't have any cash to tip the hairdresser there on her first visit. I guess the facility discouraged keeping cash around, but she made sure someone brought her cash from then on!

  3. I am so glad that your mom is settling in and is feeling a bit better about everything.
Luckily, our kids don't go back to school until the day after Labor Day. They don't get out until the first week in June though.
Hope you have a really great weekend- xo Diana
