Your Favorites This Summer

9.10.2018

How was your weekend? Ours was hot, hot, hot with our air not working. I had planned to take some  pictures for a new fall post, but it's too hot to even think about taking pictures and it certainly doesn't feel like fall. The air repairman should be here today so I can start getting in the mindset of fall.

Summer is almost officially over and I am more than ready for cooler weather, fall color, the smell of fallen leaves and sweaters. While we patiently wait I thought I would recap my most viewed summer posts in no particular order.

I shared my mom's new home reveal which has had some changes since. We had to swap the bed out for an ugly hospital bed.

  1. I love the painting added to the mantel in the great room.

I think yesterday was actually one of our hottest days - very hot/humid. Apparently effects from Gordon. Was very windy too. I dread winter and while I am fine with Fall, it reminds me that winter is coming so I AM NOT READY. I hate the days will be shorter, I will have to wear long pants and SHOES (not sandals LOL). I much prefer spring/summer clothes to more layers. Oh well. I will make it through it! LOL Seems time passes so quickly anymore. We will soon be in the holiday season. No fall decor here yet, although I did actually see some pumpkins at the produce market this weekend. Hope they finally get your AC fixed!! And your mom discharged.

  5. Your home is beautiful Kim and I get so much inspiration from your decorating style. I just noticed the floors in your kitchen and am wondering what type of hardwood they are ~ they are beautiful!
