French Country Fall Foyer and a DIY with Rub N Buff

10.22.2018

I guess when most people start sharing seasonal changes in the home they probably start with the entry, but I'm not most people and I started with the great room which you can tour {HERE} and the fall sun room {HERE}. Today let's back up and tour my French country fall foyer.

I added the French country pastoral over the antique chest after it moved out of the dining room as it got replaced with the large blacksmith sign. You know how one change leads to another. A simple potted mum was placed in this urn for an easy fall addition.

I added a potted mum to the large urn for a simple fall addition and covered the potted mum pot with moss since it was taller than the urn. Apples are also my go to for fall decor. I filled this vintage French bread basket with some fresh apples.

On a whim I grabbed my tube of Rub N Buff and updated the frame to add a touch of glam.

I just used my finger to rub it on the raised areas and it turned out great.

The only other change I made was I added a little gallery wall on the stairs wall with my vintage paintings.

If you follow me on instagram then you know the pastoral painting over the chest has already been replaced with something else that I will be sharing soon. It's a find I found while out of town last week.

We visited my mom the other night and she asked me what I bought on our trip.
She knows me too well.
😉

Here's to a great week and remember Wow Us Wednesdays returns tomorrow night at 7pm ET!
