Simple Guest Bedroom Additions for a Seasonal Update

11.05.2018

Temps are falling and it's time to cozy up the house. Today I'm sharing simple guest bedroom additions for a seasonal update in the bonus room guest bedroom.

If you check out this guest bedroom the last time I shared it {HERE} you will see the same exact bedding that I'm using now with just a few things to cozy it up.

It's all about adding layers. I love adding these vintage tattered quilts.

I also love to mix patterns. The tiny print on the duvet goes well with the stripes of the pillow and the large print on the quilt. Each piece carries the same colors that tie the patterns together.

I decided to hang this old painting over the green chest.

Texture is added with this bee skep.

Just look around your home and pull out those quilts and blankets a few pillows and something with texture for a simple update.

Wishing everyone a good week!

  6. Pretty, and I love your quilts. I think you said you bought the duvet covers at IKEA. How is the quality?

    1. Barbara, I haven't washed them, but they seem to be nice. They are a cotton and you can't beat the price.
