Wow Us Wednesdays 395

11.06.2018

Welcome to Wow Us Wednesdays! The weather has been gloomy here so far this week, but this time of year I don't mind it so much. I like how the house feels all cozy with the lamps on. I have been pinning and doing some planning for Christmas decorating, but I won't be doing any until after Thanksgiving. I will be keeping it pretty simple this year, too since I'm not hosting this year.
I know many bloggers have started decorating already, but that's just not me. Having it up for a month is good for me. How about y'all do you start early or wait until after Thanksgiving?

Let's look at some features from last week and get this party started!

I love grasscloth wallpaper and this look alike paper on this accent wall at In My Own Style.

Find some free Thanksgiving printables by Uncommon Designs.

The holidays are quickly approaching and this cranberry walnut holiday cheese log by 5 Minutes For Mom.com looks so good and easy.

Have y'all every tried a sweet potato pie? It's one of my favorites and is very similar to pumpkin pie. Julia's Simply Southern shares her recipe for this melt in your mouth pie.

Thanks again for partying here.

Now let's see what you have to wow us with this week!

1. Please only link up home and garden, DIY, crafts and recipe posts.
2.  No advertising, shops, link parties or posts promoting sales.
3. Please don't post something you already posted before. New content only.
4. Please go to the original source before you pin something.
5. By joining this party you give me permission to share on any of my social media and on this blog.

  2. Thanks for hosting Kim! I have PTSD after 25+ years in retail and having Christmas merchandise arriving in July and on the shelves in September. These days I'm happy to wait until after Thanksgiving to start my decorating. :)

  4. Thanks for hosting Kim!! I have always waited until the day after Thanksgiving, and really ocd about it, but last year I started a little earlier because I had to do Balsam Mountain Preserve, and I wanted to ease the stress and enjoy my own home more than a couple weeks. But I agree, a month is long enough -- which is probably why they all start taking it down after the Christmas gifts are unwrapped, ha!!

  6. Hi Kim- Thanks for featuring the grasscloth I added to my bedroom. Thanks for bringing back the weekly hop. I enjoy going through the links and find it more inspiring than Pinterest these days.

  7. I agree that waiting until after Thanksgiving is a good idea. A month is enough and I like to give Thanksgiving the attention it deserves.
