Spring Favorites

2.28.2019

We came home from our short trip and I've been sick ever since. Yep, the flu that I thought I would never get has hit hard. I coughed all day long on Monday and then on Tuesday the aches and pains, fever and chills set in plus complete exhaustion. All I did on Tuesday was sleep. I'm a tad better today as long as the Tylenol is subduing the aches and I'm drinking gallons of gatorade. It has been so nice and warm outside and I'm missing out and next week winter weather returns. While I don't want the cold weather to come back we can't stop it, but it has me dreaming of spring. Today I'm sharing some spring favorites from last year.

I'm looking forward to adding spring around the house this year. First this poor house will need to be cleaned and sanitized once I'm feeling better.
Fingers crossed hubby doesn't come down with this.

Are y'all decorating for spring yet?

Have a great weekend!

  1. Oh no, I hope you feel better soon! So far we have been lucky and haven't caught it. Last year it hit us hard. You would think I would have been smart enough to get a flu shot this year...Ugh. Can't wait for spring!

  9. Try the sambucol! It really will help with flu symptoms. But hopefully by the time you read this you are feeling better. We've had a nice warm week but colder next week. We'll still have dogwood winter, blackberry winter, etc. to look forward to. I don't really "decorate for spring", but will change over pillows, throws, etc. but no, too early. Since I don't blog, I don't have to worry! We'll be more about doing stuff outside for spring. Have a nursery catalog beside me right now! LOL

    1. I am better except for a nagging cough. I just change out pillows and things, too. Spring is only three weeks away. If we blink it will officially be here. Yep cold next week.
