The New Mantel Reveal

3.11.2019

Today I'm finally sharing the new mantel reveal. If you don't know why we decided to create a new mantel you can read all the info and see progress photos in this post. I love the new look and I have tried many different decor items out and finally settled on this look for now. It has a bit of a spring vibe with the vintage glass bottles and the pitcher of flowers.

This is how it looked before. This was Mr. Savvy's first mantel that he built when we built the house in 1995. He did a great job, but we both love the new cleaner look now.

The new mantel looks taller. It probably is an inch or two taller than it was, but the clean lines make it appear taller than it is.

I'm sure the decor will change many times. I just really have a hard time with mantels and bookcases.

Here's to a new week and I hope we get sunshine this week!
