This fist picture is the day my mom came and bought me from the breeder. She actually rescued me from this place. It was not a very nice place. I was out back in a trailer with a bunch of other puppies in a kennel and I wanted my freedom from this place really bad.
I know, I know am I the cutest or what? My big sister came with Mom to pick me out and this was our first stop at her house for a little visit.
Then my mom thought I needed a shirt on. What?? I'm a dog. Oh, please tell me I don't have to wear this!
Maybe if I sit here and look all cute she will take it off quicker!?
Ah, that's better. Now I can breathe again.
Well, now she has gone and dressed me up again. Oh, will it please stop? She puts all this garb on me to go out in the cold. Really, a hat??
Well, fast forward and I am really getting big. Mom says I am getting too big. The lady at the kennel said I would only weigh around seven lbs. Oops, long pass that, but I am cute!
The problem is Mom thought I was a Yorkie, but now they believe I am a Silky since I am the size of a Silky and I have the coloring of one, too. They don't really care, they love me anyway!
In fact, Dad is glad I got bigger. At my last check up two week ago I weighed in at 15.2 lbs. and the other day I went back to be groomed and I am a svelte 14.6. Yep, the diet is working, girls! I also to my surprise had to get a flu shot before they would let me stay and be groomed. A FLU SHOT???? I thought only you two legged types got those. Oh, it is the latest thing to protect us doggies. The flu has been hitting us hard so now they came up with a vaccine. Oh, how I hate SHOTS!

Here I am last summer when Mom decided I needed a haircut. I don't think I like it.
Look how big my ears look! Please let my hair grow out!
Shoot, I thought we were through with clothes. Mom says I have to wear this when we go out in the cold.
Maybe I can shake it off
Then she put this hot pink number on me. I 'm just going to lie here in revolt!!
Oh, oh Daddy is home. I hear him and I smell him through the door. Hurry Daddy!!!
O. K. I am really pooped now. That is a lot of work being the guest blogger. I sure hope you understand Mom is taking a short break this weekend. She will be back soon though so don't stay away too long. I will be hanging at the doggie hotel with my buddies.
Mom is linking to Fun Foto Friday over at Debbiedoos and Show And Tell over at My Romantic Home Please be sure and join in the fun at these parties. She will be back to read all your super comments so don't forget to leave one!
Y'all come back now,
BAILEY
For some reason, the first four pictures did not come up on this post. Maybe it's just my computer. It is so funny to read the story of your dog; the very same thing happened to us. I was told he'd be a 5 - 5 1/2 lb Yorkie; at age 14 mos. he is an 11 lb Silkie! And looking at mine is just like looking at yours; but we love him so much can't imagine him any other way! On a different subject, where do you get your Staffordshire figurines? Thanks!
