I am just minding my own business, hanging out on the stairs and here she comes with that dang camera.
Last night she did give me some of her left over spaghetti, no sauce, and let me tell you that stuff is not easy for me to eat. I had to suck those noodles and I kind of made a mess on Mom's floor. Uh oh!
I better hurry up and clean this up.
I should have known that eating that messy spaghetti would mean bath time. Now I would not allow Mom to share my wet nudity for all of you to see. It is not a pretty picture. Mom took this picture of me having my hissy fit that I have after my bath and blow dry. Sorry the picture is not real clear. She said I was moving too fast for her to keep up with that new camera.
I just roll back and forth and then do this digging thing to her good rug
until I mess my hair up on top of my head that she worked so hard on. Oops!
Someone brush it out quick!!
But, I wasn't through yet. I went in the sunroom and tried to mess up my hair some more. See I am really mad that I had to have a bath. I am going to show her that it is pointless to fix my hair.
O.k. I guess I am over it now. I wonder if there are anymore hawks or squirrels to look at. Oh no, that is my backside isn't it. That is not my best asset.
No, I guess not so I will get a toy out of my basket to play with. Hmmm let's see.
This is my favorite toy. Want someone play with me??
Well, no one will play with me so I am going to go in here and look out the window until I see something to bark at. I guess that is what I am supposed to do since Mom calls me her little watch dog.
I told my Mom she needed to buy this sign so she would understand MY RULES, but she did not. It really should be mandatory that every household with a dog have one of these so that the rules are understood.
Now, I am really tired so I will just go in the laundry room and climb in this basket of laundry. I sure hope these aren't clean! Oh, and before I forget Mom will be back in a couple of days. It looks like Pet Smart Hotel again for me. Yipee, the company of others like me and a break from that camera chasing crazy woman!
I hope you will let Mom know I did a good job guest blogging for her. She will be reading all your wonderful comments when she gets back. So please let her know. I sure would hate to get in trouble.
Everyone have a fantastic weekend!
Y'all come back now,

Bailey,
ReplyDeleteYou are so silly!! Just like my little Stanley. You guys would get along great! He follows every single rule on that sign. You crazy dogs!
Bailey: You are doing exactly the things I love to do. My mommy can never get angry with me. Do you love to run in the wet, muddy yard and then see your footprints all over the house. I love to see how many I can make. Have fun at PetSmart Hotel. I have a nice lady come stay with me when my family goes somewhere. I am really spoiled. Have fun! Murphy
ReplyDeleteSo cute. I know how much you love her. It shows.
ReplyDeletelol that was fun.. great read for a quiet friday evening..

Kim, Love, love, love your little Bailey! How sweet!! I enjoyed all your darling pictures of your puppy dog and especially the Basic House Dog Rules! My daughter would definately get a kick out of reading them, as she has two little dogs, Sonny and Riley.. Sonny is a minpin and Riley is a carin(spelling?) terrier...and they both are at home till their Mom gets home from her work..
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Bailey is so darling! Hope she has fun at the Pet Smart Hotel!
ReplyDeleteI like your list, Bailey!

Seriously, my 6 yr. old is here dying over how cute your dog is! She wants one just like yours, what is she? Cute post!
ReplyDeleteBailey, This is your aunt Kelly. You did a very good job for mom while she was away. I must say I don't think I could get your cousin Max to do such a good job for me. You know how busy he is chasing squirrels. He hasn't caught one yet though. Maybe you two can get together and try to finally catch one! Well, I'm sure I'll see ya round. You'll have to see if your mom brought you back anything from her trip. You know.....a treat! Go ask her......go ahead. I bet she has something for you.
ReplyDeleteLittle Baily is just adorable! Lucky you to have such a precious little dog and friend!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet Kim, but I gotta admit, it was so hard for me to get through this post. My sweet little Chloe is in the animal hospital and probably won't make it through the night. We just broke it to the kids. Very hard night over here......
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Kim
OMgoodness Bailey in action! Spaghetti with no sauce?? That was way too cute Kim! I am actually sitting here with my Mother-in-law and she loves your dog too! And missing her own, as she is petting my lucy! Great post Kim!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable!!! I love dogs and yours is just the cutest.
ReplyDeleteI was up at 4:30 this morning with my girl as she was having issues and needed the yard. Then of course I had to sleep downstairs with her just in case she needed to make a quick run for the patio door....oh the things we do for our "babies." :)
Bailey, you are just too cute! My Bailey and Sophie love spaghetti, too, and make just as big a mess. And they would love to share your laundry basket...
ReplyDeleteI love it when sweet Bailey guest posts and those house rules had me cracking up! I think our two dogs wrote a few of those rules!
ReplyDeleteKat :)
Bailey, you are really getting good at this blogging thing! Your new washed do is divine and girl, you have a fine looking backside! I think you are the cutest though in the laundry basket! I am SURE those sheets weren't clean! Tell your mom and dad to have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteBailey is absolutely adorable!!! A perfect dog to spoil, hug and cuddle with!
ReplyDeleteKim, I haven't mentioned it yet, but we said good-bye to our Cotton on last Monday. Bailey's blog made me smile though, through a little tears. Too hard to talk about yet.

ReplyDeleteadore the dog rules....ye-ah, that's pretty much the 'biggies' in regards to tricks..er..rules. LOL.
Bailey,
ReplyDeleteI have a question maybe you can answer. Why do you and my Scarlet like barking at birds? I mean there are always tons of birds, and why does Apollo ignore the birds but bark ferociously at the UPS man? Is there some niche that all dogs pick to bark at? If you can shed light, I'd appreciate it! Hope you and your mom have a great time!!
Dear Bailey,
ReplyDeleteYou did a wonderful job of posting for your Mom. It is tough being followed by the paparazzi all the time! You are such a good sport. Hope you have a good time visiting the Pet Smart Hotel and look forward to hearing from you again soon!
PS Tell you Mom I hope she has a good time, too!
I can't believe it is seven years since we had a dog in the house! Much as we miss her there are many ways in which we don't.
ReplyDeleteLove this post Kim, Bailey is adorable!! I love the one of her in the laundry basket, too cute..
ReplyDeleteYour new camera takes great pics...
Hope your having a great weekend.
Cheryl~
That is EXACTLY what my Yorkies do after a bath! Love that sign. Same seems to apply here.

You are so cute, Bailey! And your mama did such a good job taking your pictures making you even more adorable!...Christine
ReplyDeleteCUTE. CUTE. JUST CUTE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBless Bailey's little heart! Do you not just love little Yorkies to death??? My little Yorkie would love to get some of those noodles, but her little stomach is so puney, she'd probably get sick! Bailey is just adorable!
