....to me. It may not be to anyone else, but when I saw this cute little crystal bowl with a silver handle and spoon connected to it I just had to get it. Not too bad of a buy for ten dollars. I started not to get it, but then said why not. I like it so it might as well come home with me and it did.
I wanted this little dish to be out where it could be seen so I put together this little vignette on the dining room table.
I just put some old bottles, china plates, naturally shed antler and my new goodie on this two tiered stand by Martha Stewart that I have had.
On the top tier I added a silver plated cream and sugar bowl that was given to me as a wedding gift in 1975.
This is a vintage paper tole tray that I bought on ebay for twelve dollars.
The fact that it was yellow and had a rooster on it was perfect for me.
Some flowers in a tall vase added to this vignette just say spring and summer.
That is how I mixed several different elements to create this vignette.
I am joining the Nifty Thrifty Tuesdays party at Coastal Charm hosted my Linda and Tabletop Tuesdays over at A Stroll Thru Life hosted by Marty. Please be sure and visit both these blogs to be inspired by the other participants this week. I know I sure have been inspired by many of these ladies.
Before you go grab a nice warm chocolate chip cookie and a glass of ice cold milk.
Y'all come back now,
KIM

Great idea on the basket, Kim. I might copy it if you do not mind, lol. I have a basket that is just sitting on a chair in the corner cause it is too big to store in cabinets. Also, I have a dish with a spoon similar to that. What is it for? jam or jelly? I love your antlers too.....Christine
