Here it is before. It is almost the same as the wall color.
Here it is getting painted. I almost forgot to take a picture.
Now it is white and bright
Then I took this pillow that is on my bed
and this piece of leftover trim I had
and just tucked it in the opening and it dressed up this plain pillow. If I don't want it in there anymore
I can just pull it out. No glue no fuss. Easy peasy way to change the look.
Here it is together.
These two small and easy changes made a difference.

ReplyDeletelove the after look of the mirror and pillow, i noticed the unmatched side tables too-they all look great! verbena cottage
ReplyDeletePainting that mirror was a great idea! It looks so much better now with your stuff. Wow you got yours at a better price than I did! Mine was originally $50, so at 50% off I had to pay $25. The red trim on the pillow looks perfect too. It looks like it came that way. You could even put a small stitch or two in it to keep it secure and just snip it off if you want to change it. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful transformation, Kim. I like your bird beddings too....Christine
ReplyDeleteSimple ideas with a lot of "pop". Nice job.
