You will also notice a few other changes made.
Do you recognized this chest? This is the one that was in the foyer.
Now you can see the repainted lamps, too.
I love it in the bedroom. I just switched the two chests and moved the sideboard that was here
to the foyer where it was originally before I bought this chest.
Bought this little figurine recently at a home decor store. It is a white aged stone.
Here are a couple of close ups
I painted the legs to the Ballard's bench white. I may distress and glaze them.
Brought this pillow in here from the bench in the great room.
Made some changes in this corner. Brought in the floor lamp from the sun room which meant I switched lamps in there, too. Moved these two pictures from the other side of the room.
I love how cozy this corner is now to sit and look at my magazines and books.
Brought this picture from the dining room where the large round mirror replaced it.
Everything just moves all over the house.
Mr. Savvy's armoire is the same, but it may get painted some day.
My dresser. I took the red lamp and moved it to the great room and brought this one in here.
The pattern on this lamp is very similar to the duvet.
Replaced the row of pictures I had here with this framed watercolor from Paris that was
given to us by a friend.
Got a close up of the duvet fabric and chair fabric to show how they work together.
I also decided to distress this mirror.
Mr. Savvy asked if I am through changing things around. Are you kidding?!
Just like I said when I started this blog five months ago I am constantly changing things up.

ReplyDeleteKim, I think I bought the same duvet cover from Pottery barn in a with a sandy beige background but same floral print, or very similar, also... the quilt underneath is very similar to what I have bought for our new bedroom. AND.. my sidelamps coming from the old house, are white! I think the look will be similar. I am looking for accent pillows for the bed, have a hard time finding the right colors...

ReplyDeletewow, you are Just like me. I will move things around all year round as another treasure comes into the house, and I see ways to shake things up and have them land in different places and I like what I see. It looks great. I had to smile as I read how all the rooms had things shuffled in and out, It's kind of like shopping the house and having a whole new look for free.. enjoyed my visit!

Beautiful room, Kim! I really am amazed by the wonderful changes you make in a room! I need to do more of this in my home! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteHi Kim,
ReplyDeleteI love what you've done in your room. It really looks terrific, like a master suite in a nice hotel! I love that you can move things from room to room, and they all work together. I believe it's because you only have things that you truly love in your home. I try to do that to, because then eventually everything just seems to "fit" - like pieces of a really nice puzzle!
Have a great week.
You always have the longest list of comments. Everyone loves you!!
