The baby shower for my daughter turned out so good. Her best friend Christine did a wonderful job and I thank her for making Brooke's day special.
I took lots of pictures so I am going to show them in segments. First up is the cake and candies table.
Christine had set this up on her buffet in the dining room. Everything was so cute.
Here is Christine on the left and my daughter Brooke on the right.
There were jars and apothecary jars filled with candies, marshmallows and white chocolate covered pretzels surrounding the cake.
Christine made each of the labels and decorated each jar herself.
Did you know they made pink whoppers?
Lifesaver anyone?
She even had pink marshmallows.
I provided the cake from the Publix bakery. They did exactly what I asked for and it was delicious.
White cake and butter cream frosting with a strawberry filling. Yum.
The theme of the shower was bee for baby and that is why there are bees on the cake and why the colors are black, yellow and pink.
Yes, that is moi and my daughter.
I love this sign that Christine bought for the nursery. It says it all.
Linking to A Stroll thru Life for Tabletop Tuesday.
Thanks so much for stopping by and all your gracious comments. Y'all are the best!
Y'all come back now,
KIM
There will be more pics coming soon and Christine has graciously allowed me to take pictures of her home and I will share those, too.

What a wonderful shower! Your daughter is beautiful, Kim and so are you!
ReplyDeletePS:I had no idea about the pink whoppers. I learned something new today!
Hi Kim! Oh this whole thing just makes me a little bit teary-eyed...I am thinking what fun you are going to have with a sweet grandbaby...and how much you have to give that baby. Your daughter is beautiful (like her Mom-hey enjoy the compliment-I am usually the sarcastic one-lol) She sure carries her pregnancy beautifully!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE all the pink. I did not know that they made pink whoppers..wait til my granddaughters see those babies! When YOUR grandbaby gets a bit older (okay years-2 or 3) you can take her to Starbucks for a Strawberry smoothie-milk and strawberries with whipped cream on top...no extra sugar)...she'll love it. And you can teach her to paint! Let me assure you THAT is a real treat (er I mean-mess).
Closing out because I am on my break here at work...but in response to something you said on my blog...what do you mean you can't email me from there? Maybe I have something that I need to reset? I didn't know I had it blocked....sigh...another thing to figure out! Hugs- Diana
It all looks so nice. I served the pink whoppers at my daughters shower too. I loved the bees on the cake you bought at the bakery, so cute! Soon you will have a new baby that you will want to hold 24-7...it is so awesome! :D
