I hope everybody's week has been going well. I have slowly been getting a lot done before my guests come this weekend. I still have some cleaning to do, but the tables are ready for a dinner we are having Saturday night. I will share those another time.
Now it is time to join Marty at A Stroll thru Life for the fall cloche party.
This is a vignette on my sofa table that I still haven't painted. Still on my to do list.
I changed what was under the cloche to some different fruits, artichoke and a starfish.
and a pinecone ball
Added these fall branches and a set of shed antlers from our property.
Placed a willow charger in the back for an added layer and texture.
The quail is from Pottery Barn last year.
This is my bird topped cloche in the sunroom.
There is a natural bird nest under it from our front porch this spring.
Last but not least is this jar from Southern Living at Home line filled with pears and placed
on a willow tray with a fern and a gourd.
Hope you will go over to Marty's and join in.
Also joining Artie at Color Outside the Lines for vignette Fridays,
Southern in my Heart for inspiration Fridays.

Hi Kim, I will have to come back for a visit, only a few pics loaded. I loved what I did see, all the fruit looked really pretty and so Festive for Fall.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday, Kim!! LOVE all of your cloches and how you've scattered them throughout your beautiful home! Your sofa table vignette is beautiful ... so colorful and, yes, perfect mix of textures! I hope you have a wonderful weekend with your family ... they won't want to leave! Take care, Becca
ReplyDeleteLove all of them. Especially the antlers found on your property. I like all the southern living home pieces.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Cloches Kim! I love how much you decorated around them creating such interested vignettes. I need to work on that! I love the tall cloche with the pears! It's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Kim. I love the natural bird's nest. I have several of them. They are a great decorating item. I like the arches in your kitchen above the SLH cloche. I haven't seen those before. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteSherry
Beautiful home and your fall decorations are gorgeous. Have a fabulous weekend with your guests!
ReplyDeleteI know I've said it before Kim but your taste is exquisite. Beautiful job my friend. Can't wait to see the shower pictures. Have a wonderful weekend and don't stress it looks wonderful! Patty
ReplyDeleteI love all of your arrangements. They're so inspiring! I made a trip to Hobby Lobby yesterday and bought a few items. Can't wait to get started. Love the antlers!

Looks beautiful Kim!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for coming by the new Back Porch. It is definitely a work in progress. Lots to learn over there.
I just had to comment this morning about how gorgeous your sofa table display looks! Love the fruit and leaves and the antler combination. That is a beautiful cloche and stand combo too. Cody will be able to come Saturday night. Yay! Looking forward to our get together and meeting Naomi for the first time.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Kim. Good luck with your family dinner, but I know it will wonderful. I am hosting a birthday party for the founder of our company(his 80th) tomorrow night for 80 people(all the employees). I have been working on it for the last month and next Friday I have the tennis girls over for my yearly dinner, so I am in the same mode as you!
ReplyDeleteKim, this looks fabulous!!! I always love your cloches:) Love the use of all the colors too, and the antler looks great there!
ReplyDeleteThey are all just beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Kim! I love the way you gather things and use trays....
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Penny
Kim, If I had one wish it would be to follow you around for a week, watch you work, and learn how to put my home together. Love your displays, so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful inspiration. The cloche on the sofa table is beautiful as it flows beyond the cloche with the fall flowers and antlers. The jar in the kitchen looks just great clustered with other fall items resting upon the willow tray. It's amazing how placing a little collection upon a tray can just pull it all together!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have you come join in Seasonal Sundays. It's a weekly meme that I host and it's all about what the season means to YOU! Hope to see you then.

W.O.N.D.E.R.F.U.L.!! I need you here to help me! Kim, you do such a beautiful job of pulling a look together! Love it!
ReplyDeleteLook at your pictures...GORGEOUS!! I love cloches, but always have a heck of a time finding them. Where do you find most of yours? Your fall displays are so beautiful. Kim, you are so talented. Your ideas are brilliant and so warm and welcoming! Like Marla, I would love to follow you around your house and watch you in decorating action. You are definitely someone to learn from. Thanks for sharing! I'm off to spruce UP what I have out…LOL! =) ~Liz
ReplyDeleteY'all are all too sweet. You would not want to follow me around doing this because you would go nuts and get confused. I jump from one thing to the next and it takes me a while to get it all together. I think of one thing and say I need to do this and next thing I know I am doing something else. May have ADD! Liz, my cloches have come from different decor shops and on line.
ReplyDeleteI'm super-late for this party, but I love seeing everyone else's cloches. Yours are beautiful. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Kim
I love just about everything you do. I need to learn how to incorporate more texture into my displays. At least I know where to come to get inspiration for that.
ReplyDeleteKim you are so like me....yesterday I had 3 things going at the same time, and went from one to another:) OK I got to see all the beautiful pictures now....loos great! I like the vignette behind the sink in the basket...great idea!
ReplyDeleteSo many pretty cloches! I love your vignettes! They are interesting with so many textures and colors. Wonderful.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, KIm! I love how you put the cloches in trays....Christine
ReplyDeleteThose look beautiful! I love them all, but that vignette on the sofa table is outstanding. I love al the textures from the sea star to the antlers. You just know how to pull it all together. You need to video yourself making a vignette and post it for us to see how the mind works while putting them together!
ReplyDeleteKim, all of your cloches are so pretty and perfect for the fall! I hope you enjoy your company this weekend!
ReplyDeleteKat :)
Morning, Kim! oh, what a lovely display. You've thought of everything, haven't you? And there are some more horns! :) Looks perfect with all of your Falleness. I love the willow tray in your kitchen too and how you've decked it out.

Peggy, that was sold a few years ago and you may be able to find them on ebay. Type in SLAH in the search box. They are probably hard to find since they are several years old.

ReplyDeleteHello Kim,
ReplyDeleteI love your fall cloches! I recently found an antler when I was reorganizing my garden closet and for the life of me I have no idea where it came from! Maybe I will copy you and use it in a fall vignette. Well, that is if I ever admit fall is here or at least approaching...
I hope you have a fantastic weekend with your guests!
~ Tracy
Kim, the colors are so wonderful! I am loving the pinecone ball, the antlers, the rattan charger (L.O.V.E) and all the details that you add to make the space so amazing! I love visiting here! I sent you an e-mail with info about the rattan plate stand! Christie at threepixielane
ReplyDeleteHi Kim,
ReplyDeleteYou have many beautiful cloches and Fall arrangements.
Your house is stunning!
Beautiful, Kim! Your photos are wonderful. What camera are you using these days. It seems all our cameras went kaput and my oldest daughters is the only one working, but she is never home and takes the camera with her!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!!

ReplyDeleteI like it that you left the starfish out for fall. I put away a few shells and things, but I have pumpkins sitting among the shells here...I just can't make all of my "beach love" disappear. I really love that apothocary jar!
