I have finally gotten the kitchen finished with a few holiday decorations added to it. The kitchen was kind of the dumping ground while all the other decorating was going on, but now it has been all spiffied up. What that isn't a word? It is now. My kitchen has several cloches and jars, too so I can join Marty for her holiday cloche party. Don't want to miss that. Lot of photos, but not a lot of words.
Hot chocolate anyone. Mr. Savvy loves his quick hot chocolate.
I have had this cookie jar forever and when you take the lid off it plays Christmas music and the battery is still working. Bailey barks when she hears it.
This is the rug I won from Kat's giveaway awhile back.
I love it!
This rug is in front of the sink and it came from Lowe's a couple of years ago.
Another old cookie jar and it still plays music, too.
I bought real colored bulbs to go in this jar and then found fake ones at a dollar store after the fact. Oh, well I like the real ones and can use them if needed.

ReplyDeleteKim, the kitchen is beautiful. The seed company boxes I drool for everytime you take a picture of them. You posted about them ~ I remember going to check, no longer available. I guess they were the only ones? The company name (let's say) is VERY special.

ReplyDeleteYour kitchen is fabulous. I love decorating my kitchen too as it is the place we spend the most time in and mine was the dumping ground too as we were decorating. It keeps getting dumped on (poor kitchen) as that is where we are doing all of the projects like the chocolate dipping with all of the kids and grandkids wanting in on the action. I posted that one today but it was worth it with the pictures I got of the little guy.
ReplyDeleteEverything is just lovely. I love your tree too. You can see ours as you walk in the front door too. Absolutely breathtaking and I bet it is even more so in person.
Everything looks great, Kim! Very festive. I have to say, I just love that Santa kitchen rug! How lucky you were to win it. Thanks again for sharing.

beeeeeuuutiful! Kim, how long is it going to take you to take down and store all of your decorations? Wait, never mind. As fast as you are, you will probably be through with all of yours before I have taken care of my paltry amount! LOL! Your home is a festival of beauty!!
