How is everyone's week going so far. I have soooooo much to do this week and I am sure many of you do, too. Tis the season. I went and bought all the groceries today for the upcoming holiday. Need to take out a loan for that one. Have a hair appointment in the morning and then I will start baking tomorrow. Bailey has a vet appointment Wednesday and a grooming appointment Thursday. My son and family will be coming on Thursday, too. So much to do!
I shared some pictures of my sister's house decorated for the holidays and didn't want to overload you so here are the rest of them.
This is what you see when you first get up on her front porch.
She placed lighted presents on this stand. I am sure it is cute at night all lit up with the bright colors.
They had to place bricks on these trees to keep them from blowing over.
I just love her front porch, but way too cold now.
Let's go back in where it is warm. How about the breakfast room.
Even the dog has his own stocking, of course.
Joining Marty at A Stroll thru Life for Tabletop Tuesday.
Make it a great week!

Enjoy your Christmas and that cute little granddaughter of yours!

ReplyDeleteI really like those branches. Did she paint them white?
I made my grocery LIST today! Finally got the cards mailed today! Got most of the gifts wrapped, still have to CLEAN, cook, wrap some more, and buy one more gift! Right now don't feel like doing any of it:) XO, Pinky
ReplyDeleteI love your decorating style and the great idea about using bricks to weigh down some outside items.
ReplyDeleteBlessed Christmas, my blogging friend!
Kim, her home is just amazing!!! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI've missed you!
Still am not blogging often, will soon!
Merry Christmas!
Love you sweet lady,

Your Sister's decorations are so pretty!!!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about taking out a loan to buy the groceries. I have to shop tomorrow and a very long list - hope the blood pressure meds hold up!
The porch is so pretty and I especially love the snow in the large jars!
ReplyDeleteI ended up putting red and green shiny ball ornaments all over that green wreath on my porch. I decided it needed a little bling so you could see it better at night. Then, I wrapped white lights around my porch columns so it looks all bright at night. I SWORE I wasn't going to do too much outside this year, but after driving around and looking at more Christmas lights I was inspired to add a touch more. It's a sickness, I know! I've got a busy week too. I spent time running errands and shopping today and then I have a dentist appt tomorrow and Wednesday. I've been doing tons of laundry and still have some house cleaning to do. Cody's truck needs work, so he's using my car to get around. Jimmy hurt his back lifting something too heavy. So, he's been laying around on an ice pack. It's been crazy around here! Is Christmas over yet???
ReplyDeleteYou both are wonderful decoraters, you just know where to put each item, love what your sister did with the lighted presents!
ReplyDeleteLook at that green lawn! As I sit here at the computer, I am wrapped in a huge snuggly blanket! It is stinkin' cold in these mountains. Your sis's porch is beautiful! I love the windows that go nearly to the floor.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the house tour Kim! Love house tours! Your sisters porch is gorgeous and everything is so festive!!

Kim-What a great eye she has for decorating. Guess you both fell off the same family tree! We have out little trees weighed down too and they have still blown over twice!
ReplyDeleteI love her front door and it would be fun to see those packages lit at night..must appear to be floating. Nice tour- Diana
Kim, what a beautiful home she has too. How fun to have such fun hobbies in common. I tried to send an email but it didn't seem to work, thanks for letting me know that I had missed the link. I got that edited! I appreciate the help.

ReplyDeleteI have so enjoyed seeing your sister's home at Christmas, Kim. Absolutely beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYour guest room is lovely.
This is the first morning of my break I've had time for coffee and blogs. I bought our Christmas meal Sunday and yesterday and had appts, too. I really needed this little break.
I'm preparing our guest rooms. The kiddo's are only 30 minutes from our home, but we are expecting a winter storm, beginning Thursday. We are promised a white Christmas. One daughter and her family have plans to spend the night here. We may have more overnighters, if the roads get bad. We are excited about the extra time with family.
Merry Christmas to you and your family!
So pretty! I see she has quite a big porch as well. I totally get the bricks, the winds we had a few weeks ago were crazy! She has done a beautiful job decorating for Christmas! Thanks for sharing her home with us. Merry Christmas to both of you!
ReplyDeleteLove it!! I love the big ornys that are outside, how fun! And I love her white tree and white vignette.
