to Chicago. Here are just a sampling of photos of her beautiful home The Polohouse.
Love the old brick floor.
Check out her kitchen. This was the first photo I saw when I came to her blog and I gasped!

ReplyDeleteOh I love it!!! It is so Ralph Lauren and I love Ralph Lauren!
ReplyDeleteI'm going over now to visit!
Thanks Kim!!
Gorgeous! I'll be going right over. I love seeing a variety of homes. This one is so different than most. Seems like a lot of the same style is shown on the decorating blogs so its nice to see someone marching to a different drummer.
ReplyDeleteAlison's home is so beautiful. Oh yes i love the kitchen!
ReplyDeleteKim, thanks for sharing the Polohouse. Her home is gorgeous, and I will go over to her blog and see more. We are redoing our house and I am switching the living room and dining room. It is an historic home so the rooms are the same size, and one of the fireplaces is in the dining room, which also has natural dark beadboard high ceilings. We are equestrians, but I have never done a room with the theme, so I thought that would be the perfect room for my new decor. Her room was so inspiring. So glad I got to see it!
ReplyDeleteOoh, thank you Kim - I'm just heading off over there for a good look around :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
So beautiful - very inviting! Thank you for the invitation!

Kim, Thanks for the introduction to Alison's blog. I adore the English/Ralph Lauren style and her home is stunning. Tartan everywhere... it's doesn't get any better than that.
ReplyDeleteThanks also, Kim, for your kind comments on my new blog. It's been fun and challenging getting it started. Hope to see you around town. Babs
Thanks for sharing this blog, Kim. I, too, gasped when I saw the kitchen. Seriously, WOW! I'm not much into horses, but I can appreciate their beauty & that style of decorating. Do you watch the show American Pickers? They just did a recent episode where William Shatner & his wife contacted them to locate some specific items for decorating the office in their Tennessee country home. They wanted everything to revolve around horses & derbies, etc., as they have long been raising & loving horses. The American Picker guys found some amazingly awesome things & the finished room looked great. It was just what the Shatners wanted.
