I found this little painting and decided it needed to come home with me.
Isn't it cute? I was drawn to the little bicycle parked in front of this red door.
I hung my majolica looking plate above it since it has been sitting in a drawer and placed
both on this wall at the staircase.
This is what you see when you come in the front door now. I did have a horse print here, but it has found a new spot and I will be sharing that with you soon. I love the new spot it is in and I think you will too.
This painting was $49 so I paid $25 out of pocket. Not bad and it is a nice frame.
Not sure whether to leave the frame as it is or to paint it. What do you think?
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
KIM

Love the painting Kim! Lucky you - only $25 bucks!
ReplyDeleteI wish we had Home Goods here! I would buy that painting...but since we don't, I may attempt to paint it myself. I personally love the way the frame has both touches of white and gold and think it really compliments the painting itself. I would not change a thing.
ReplyDeleteYou lucky gal!
Lucky you and the perfect spot for it too!
ReplyDeleteI love it Kim, the bike does catch your eye, congrats on winning! We don't have a Homegoods here in SW Pa, we do though have TJMaxx and Marshalls, I love both! Target has one that I keep looking at but haven't bought YET:)
