I don't think this pitcher is very old, but I love the shape of it and the price was $10.
Love this huge wicker food cover for only $8.
It has a braided handle.
My sister found this yesterday and emailed me to tell me where she found it. I went today and bought it.
Thanks Sis.
Someone did a terrible paint job on it. I wish it was the original patina, but for only $15 I bought it anyway. The prices of these old scales have really climbed.
My favorite find this week was this antique rooster print framed in this great old wood frame.
I gave $45 for it which I didn't think was too bad.
I will share where all these lovelies are soon.
Have a wonderful weekend. I hear it is supposed to rain here all weekend.
Hope it is better where you are.

Great finds, Kim. I spent the day at Round Top yesterday and came home with a small Red Cliff white ironstone piece. I've wanted to find a piece of this since first seeing it on Debbie's blog. Love the shape and little cluster of grapes. Another piece of white ironstone, a few blue Mason jars, and some other treasures came home with me. It was a fun day.
ReplyDeleteNow, send some of that weekend rain our direction. We could use it.
Hope you enjoy the weekend even with the rain. ~ Sarah

ReplyDeleteThat rooster would have come home with me too.... great price!
Great finds! I wonder if you couldn't take that slapped on coat of paint off the scale? Could you try a bit of steel wool in a spot it wouldn't show? I have taken paint off a couple of items that way.
