Now it is time to join Miss Sheila's kitchen cupboard party. She is such a good party hostess. Let me show you probably the only cabinet you really want to take a peek at. The other ones aren't quite this organized.
I am so glad that I decided to add glass doors to this cabinet when we built the house in 1995. When we renovated the kitchen a few years ago I still wanted to keep glass doors here. The new door fronts were fitted with seeded glass instead of the plain glass I had before.
Here you can see a close up of the seeded glass and my rustic handles that I ordered from Top Knobs.
Let's open the doors and take a look inside, shall we?
Most of you know that I painted and glazed the inside of this cabinet red a few months back so my new white dishes and accessories would pop.
My extra large chicken tureen sets on the top shelf. This was a rather good find at the antique mall for only $32.
Beside the chicken sets my newest old looking pitcher also found at the antique mall.
Dinner plates, lunch plates, bowls, creamer and serving bowl are within easy reach on the bottom shelf.
Coffee and tea cups and saucers are on the middle shelf.
This little cow creamer sets along with the coffee cups. Purchased this at an antique shop, too, but of course you can find them everywhere as my sister told me. I just think it's cute.
I have this foamy shelf liner on the shelves so that it is not quite so noisy when placing the dishes back in the cabinet.
My vintage scale that I showed you last week sets up here on top of the cabinet
along with my vintage enamelware pot
and my first vintage scale purchase.
That's it for my cupboard tour.
Come join the party at Notesongs with Miss Sheila.
I will also be joining Miss Marty for Tabletop Tuesdays.
Please be sure and enter my GIVEAWAY. If you love English transferware you don't want to miss it.

Your cupboard is simply beautiful. A lot of times we fill white cabinets and cupboards with colorful pieces. In your case you have shown that white also fits white. The maroon/red background inside the cupboard perhaps made the difference. This is I think my first time to see "seeded glass." It's uniquely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove that seeded glass ... great kitchen! Thanks for sharing.
