I know you must recognize a couple of these folks. I would name each person here if I was good with names, but I am afraid I will leave out somebody. A patron of the restaurant took this shot of us.
Thank you Tracy for editing this photo in photoshop and sending it to me.
Here are some random shots.
Babs, at the end of the table in the green sweater, is a new blogger and she lives down the street from me. I asked her if she wanted to go with me and she did. It was so nice to meet her. We did a little antique shopping afterwards and I got a pretty sweet deal on something I collect. I will share it later. I also found some nice bookends that I have been needing. Finally some nice ones at a good price. They were in another decor shop we stopped by.
So much fun. I look forward to doing this again.
Thank you, Rhoda for putting this together!
If you can, you should try to get a blogger luncheon like this together in your area.
Enjoy your day. I am going out to do some yard work.
Kim
What a nice way to spend an afternoon Kim! Looks like you guys had a lot of fun! I'm off to go do some yard work myself, enjoy your day, Martina
ReplyDeleteThat looks like so much fun! Another blogger & I are planning one in the Phoenix area later this Fall. Hopefully, I'll be there by then. LOL! Enjoy your outdoor time. We are having super-high winds here, so not venturing out.
ReplyDeleteCAS
I have been "threatening" to put together a blogger lunch in my home for the SF Bay area bloggers. Keep finding excuses not to though. It looks like you girls were having a blast. ~Delores
ReplyDeletePS: I'm in the garden too today, getting my hands dirty! Why can't I just wear gloves?
How fun& inspiring! I love girl's days out. Cannot even imagine how many ideas were floating around plus all the laughter.
ReplyDeletesuch fun! It turns out that where we are moving to, there are 3 bloggers that I regularly chat with who live in the same town or very close by. We'll definately have to meet up too!
ReplyDeleteWho thought of the name tags, good idea!
ReplyDeleteLooks like an awesome day Kim. I should try to arrange one here, there are a lot of Carolina bloggers!
ReplyDeleteGreat looking group of ladies. Sounds like a fun time.
ReplyDeleteOh, I missed this by a few weeks! Planning on an Atlanta trip in late May, early June! I can only imagine how much fun you had.
ReplyDeleteI really wish I could have been there!! Maybe next time you gals do this.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Penny
Looks like a great time and definitely a good turn out. I didn't realize that you and Babs were neighbors. What fun to live close to each other. Thanks for sharing. ~ sarah
ReplyDeleteWhat FUN to meet a few fellow bloggers !! I'd love to do that with our SC folks sometime, too. Have fun playing in the yard.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I've been to two bloggers get-togethers. Was invited to one in Texas but didn't make that one! We like the first blogger me met so much, my daughter married her brother! :D
ReplyDeleteDeb

ReplyDeleteKAT
That just looks like loads of fun! Maybe you all have started something... How would you find out who blogs about the same stuff in a city? I have heard of no one from Kansas City, and there must be some, wouldn't you think?
ReplyDeletePat
I know of about three bloggers in my area. We haven't done this. Now if Dallas, 90 miles away, were to do it, there would be lots. So glad you got to have fun and find a pretty for yourself as well!
ReplyDeleteBrenda
Thanks Kim for posting the photos. It was a great time, I enjoyed meeting everyone. Can't wait to do it again!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like y'all are having so much fun!!! :D
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you ladies had a grand time, I would love to have a blogger get-to-gether here in North Texas. Love your blog BTW
ReplyDeleteI recognized Rhoda right off the bat. I had met her in NYC at a blogger event for Nate Berkus. She is so nice! Looks like it was a great time Kim.
ReplyDeleteHi Kimmie! Oh, what fun! Everyone looks so cute and happy! I've still yet gotten to meet anyone from Blogland. I'm not giving up though!

Sehlia ;)
It's always fun to get together with other bloggers, Kim. You all looks so happy and lovely....Christine
ReplyDeleteI am so disappointed that I had to work. Next time, if I can find out in advance, I might be able to get the day off.
ReplyDeleteHope y'all had fun!
This looks like so much fun, and you look great Kim, i love your hairstyle!

ReplyDeleteLooks like fun. Makes me wish I still lived in the Atlanta area! Maybe next time I will be visiting my boys and can make it!
ReplyDeleteHi, Kim. I really really thought about driving up to Atlanta to meet y'all but so glad I didn't. My dear sweet mom passed away yesterday. Quite a shock, actually. She had fallen and wasn't doing well but things quickly went downhill from there. Maybe the next time....
ReplyDeleteI HATE that I missed it :( I love the name tags...I need those :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like great fun!
ReplyDeleteSo enjoyed meeting you, Kim at our first blogger's luncheon. Thank you for all of the info on the chalk paint. I think I'm hooked, just trying to figure out which color to get first!
ReplyDeleteLove your blog and I look forward to reading more!
