Oh Kim, you make the most mundane things eye popping!! You have just got the touch. You have got to tell me what kind of new camera you got! (I know it's not the camera, but your pictures do look amazing).

Beautiful things Kim, beautifully shot. Your pictures are amazing.
ReplyDeleteKim, you and I have to have our whites for our reds to shine! I just bought some white petunias today myself. Now stay out of that big pond muck for awhile before you hurt your back!
ReplyDeleteBrenda
Hello Kim, your whites are just as beautiful as everything else in your home! Lovely photos. Thanks for sharing the information at Songbird.

you know, you ladies in blogland with your beautiful furniture paintings, and the gorgeous vignettes on top really do inspire.
ReplyDeletehere is the problem, some people shouldnt be inspired, unless it is to inspire to hire...someone else to do it.
so, i found this old wooden serving cart in the back of our basement from previous owners...i decided to spray paint it black and then ORB over it...not that i had ever spray painted before, and had no idea what ORB meant...but why should that stop me?
then when that was done, i found and empty corner and stuck it in it, and started my vignette...again, had no idea what a vignette was until finding decorating and crafting blogland...so i "shopped my home" and found a pretty linen napkin to lay on it, and then dug out a pretty cut glass decanter, a pretty crystal ice bucket, and some antique silver goblets.
stepped back and admired my handiwork....then realised it looked as though i was setting up to serve communion.
i curse all you talented women that make us goodfballs think we too can have an eye for decorating.
Very Pretty Kim! Martina
ReplyDeleteYou DO have white!!! Who knew? Love the coral pieces! What- No pictures of the tighty-whities in MrS's drawer?;>)
ReplyDeleteLovely whites! I really like the plant stand you have your white petunias sitting in!!
ReplyDeleteKim isn't it funny how you zero in on one element or color in your home that you then realize just how much you actually have. I love your white elements and with all your great colors it is the perfect combination. Happy Mom's day tomorrow, Kathysue
ReplyDeleteYou have some very pretty whites. Even if you don't have a "white" house, you have some great white accessory pieces.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day.
Jane
This is so pretty, you just know the right place for everything to make it pop! You must have missed the post I did for Lucy's pet party debuting the Sushi Man...that tell the story of this why we have him...not my idea, but have to say he's growing on me..today so far so good, but Spanky hates him!
ReplyDeleteLove all your pretty whites, Kim...and your photos are beautiful! Hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day!

Your whites make the other colors pop. And your vignettes are soooooo beautiful, luuuuv the grouping of the white pitcher and plates, but the dried hydrangea in that white container is my favorite!
