My daughter gave me something I have had my eye on for a while, but just never purchased it.
I wasn't sure where or how I was going to use it and then this came to mind. I just stuck it on this shelf and filled it with some of my cook books. Now, I just need to start using some of these books.
I was using a green ceramic bowl for my books, but I like this look much better.
This basket with burlap liner is from Pottery Barn.
I had received an envelope from my son and daughter in law in Nashville a few days ago and the outside of the envelope said "Do Not Open Till Mother's Day" so I obeyed and waited.
Inside was a card and this little diaper with OPEN written on the outside. Oh, no is this what I think it is?
Yep, sure enough. Child number three for them and grandchild number four for me. I couldn't get the
diaper to stay open so it doesn't show the due date which is Nov. 17!
SURPRISE!
They have two girls so maybe a boy this time. It would be fine if it is another girl though. We love our girls.
She went to lunch and shopping with my mom, sister, and me today. Have to teach them early.
I am glad that you had a good mothers day. I really liked to baby announcement that is so funny. I think I am going to have to try when I have another baby.
