Copper and roosters are signature pieces of French country decorating.
I think the fern will do well here with all this light.
See my little roo shakers? My friend Debbie gave me those when she came by for a visit. Aren't they cute? Did I get her anything? No, I am a bad blogger friend. She also gave me a cute hand towel.
I love the patina of my old copper pot. I got this many years ago and don't remember where, but I do know I didn't pay much for it.
Still loving my cow canvases that I purchased from OKL. I saw them selling them again one day a few weeks ago so keep your eye out each day when there daily sale comes in your email. You can click on the highlighted link to sign up. Those canvases were only $15 for the two!
I love adding pillows in the breakfast room.
I have placed all my dining room chairs in here and all the yellow ones from here are in the dining room. Love them switched. Have you thought about switching yours around?
I am going to find some new fabric and recover these again some time.
Hope you had a good day today. I was a little under the weather. Feeling better than I did though.
Have a great week!
Kim

Catching up finally, love the look and that Leila is such a cutie, wow she's getting big and those blue eyes are so beautiful. Your stool is adorable, love the stencil
ReplyDeleteSorry you aren't feeling well today. I don't have any copper in my house, but now I wish I did! I love that look...it looks perfect on your table. I wish you lived close enough to come to the auction of my in-laws things. We've been working so hard getting things ready for the auction people to pack and move it. They collected for over 50 years. My father-in-law sold a truckload of things to Cracker Barrel for their stores every year for many years. You wouldn't believe how much stuff there is!!
ReplyDeleteLove the copper pot. Looks great front and center on the table. Forgot to tell you that I love the way your stool turned out also. You just keep impressing me!
ReplyDeleteLove your copper pot! Those things are so high!

I love copper. It is my dream to have a set of copper pots one day....Nice post!
ReplyDeleteKim, lovin this post because I love your kitchen. Your my kitchen dream designer. If we were neighbors I would have you over to give me some ideas to pull my kitchen together. I love everything about your eating area. The curtains, the chair rail and the canvases but what is so fabulous is the table. I've got to know if you did it yourself, I think I already know the answer to the question. Maybe you could do a tutorial about it.
ReplyDeleteHope your week is great
