Still loving the tour of your sisters beautiful home. What a cozy looking sofa. That shot with the wicker covered bottle reminds me of my living room. I have a vignette of them.
Such a gorgeous room....I always enjoy seeing what changes she has made! A BIG thank you to your sis for allowing you to share her beautiful home with us :o) ~Des

I'm sitting here looking at this post as hubby drinks his morning coffee....and just drooling as I gab to him over the comfortable elegance of your sister's home. You and your sister both have the decorating gene.
Kim--tell us about that floral painting with the gold french edges. It is to die for. I've never seen anything like it. Where did she get it? It would be so perfect in my bedroom! thanks
Your sister's home is beautiful. You and she have so much talent between you. I am also amazed at the quality of the photographs! They are wonderful. I am enjoying the home tour.
ZOMGs, I adore that frame with the flower paintings!!! Where would one acquire a frame such as that (ugh....on a budget, of course; I have champagne taste on a beer or water budget! LOL!). It also dawns on me that it would make a pretty bad-ass placard of one were to paint the front, save fir the gilding, with some blackboard paint and added some sort of a backing to it to set it up!
I just LOVE her house. I never thought about putting flowers in my demijohn..but it looks fabulous. And, I want a cool magnifying glass like hers. Does she still have her coffee sack on the wall.? I am about to take mine down for awhile. Thanks for showing us her pretty house...I see it runs in the family. xoxo bj
She has such beautiful ideas... like the one where she has placed a magnifying glass on a stock of papers. The 'Nest' cushion is gorgeous. I are right, no words were required with this post. The pictures say it all.
