I spied this cow butter dish sitting on a lower shelf and just had to grab it. It is by Farberware and was only twelve dollars. I love adding this to my white and blue collection in the dining room.
This little fellow was sitting in another booth. I love these old little cow creamers and am working on a collection. It was eight dollars.
The best find of the three is this painting. I have been quite lucky finding some old paintings lately. This one was in a Kelly green frame that I have since switched to another frame.
It was just leaning up against a table on the floor and when I picked it up to look at the price I had to look at it over and over. I even started to ask a passerby if it said what I thought it did. This was only twelve dollars! I just kept looking to make sure I wasn't missing another zero. The painting is signed Ranulph and I did some researching and Ranulph Bye painted over 4000 water colors and oils. Mine is just a print, but it is perfect to me. The mat is covering up the Bye.
Cow number four is this little Delft blue cow creamer that I found last week. Pretty cute for four dollars.
The rest are just some shots of my little herd.
See, I told you the cows are mooving in.
I will show you where the picture ended up soon.
Gone on a little over night trip. Have a wonderful weekend!

Kim, your cows are dear. I find the little creamers charming as well and was fortunate to find a French one this summer while on a weekend getaway. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteTerrific finds! Love the delft blue one! Those cow creamers are so charming! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHow funny that you weren't cow shoping and ended up with all those moo-ers! You will have to start using lots of cream in your coffee now so you can use them!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a nice day or so away- I am so ready to do that myself! xo Diana
Hi Kim,I love your new painting!! What a great price. Your cows are so adorable.

I love the play on words in your title of this post! Very clever Watson! Ha! Your herd is growing. I may have to get me a little white cow creamer of my own someday. They're so cute! BTW, I just rec'd my new Southern Living magazine in the mail today (Oct) and saw an article for a weekend getaway in Ashville. You'll have to check it out ASAP! This issue is really good. Such a gorgeous cover too. Have fun this weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love that painting! Guess I'm going to have to start looking for something like that for myself next time I go to the flea market.

ReplyDeleteI just love all your cows. I am wild about cow stuff. I have the same butter dish and creamers. One can never have enough creamers. They look darling on a Christmas tree, just poke a branch through there tale. I have one in the kitchen every year. Mooy Christmas.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos. The little blue and white creamer is similar to one I have that's a chicken. Have a fun little trip. It's always nice to get away even if it's just for a short while. I'm still pondering the camera investment. Still not sure.
ReplyDeleteI love the cows, especially the butter dish!
