All these were taken with my old camera around our property. Not sure if we will have good color this year, but I sure hope so. Looking forward to cooler evenings and crisper air. I love the woodsy smell that develops outside from the fallen leaves, but I sure don't like having to clean them up.
How about you, are you ready for fall? What do you love about fall?
We are on a little road trip this weekend, but I will be checking in.
Hope you have a safe and happy holiday weekend!

merhaba. sonbahar hep hüzün verir bana. hüznün en iyi ilacı da iyi bir tatildir değilmi ?
ReplyDeleteFall is my favorite season BUT since long hard winters follow I'm just not in a hurry for summer to end just yet. I will however welcome the seasons as it arrives here shortly.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, I'm just waiting for it to start!
ReplyDeleteI am soooo ready for Fall, Kim! Looking at your pictures from last year makes me yearn for it to arrive as quickly as it can! I've always enjoyed walking more in the Fall than another season and you can't beat the beauty of the leaves on the trees.
ReplyDeleteSo ready for fall here too, but first we have to get rid of
ReplyDeleteT.S. Lee. Branches are all over the yard and water is about ankle deep in the back..YUCK.
Hope you are safe and enjoying your holiday weekend,
Melissa
Very pretty pictures, Kim. Have a nice holiday!
ReplyDeleteWe're ready for cooler weather here in Alabama, too. It's very dry here also, and we are hoping that the slow-moving storm will bring us some rain.
ReplyDeleteYour leaves were beautiful last year. Thank you for sharing a fall day with me.
Kim, I doubt we will have a pretty fall here in Alabama since it has been so dry the past few weeks. If you have pretty fall color over in Georgia, please share it with us! I missed seeing your posts last year because I am fairly new to blogging.
ReplyDeleteAutumn is my favorite season. I love the changing of the leaves, fresh picked apples & fresh pressed apple cider, and of course football! Beautiful pics! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThe crisp nights and lovely days invigorate me and make me want to fling open the windows and enjoy! I love the smell of wood smoke around the campfire and the pretty trees along with the scurry of little critters getting ready for winter. Come on fall!!!! And please be a LONG fall!!!!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful. We don't get much fall color here so I really enjoy seeing others from other parts of the country.
ReplyDeleteI love fall. We celebrate the season even if we don't get the weather here in Florida. I'll just have to see beautiful colors through my (more) northern blog buddies.

I'm still hanging on to summer here, but the chilly nights and heavily dewed mornings tell me that it's almost over.
ReplyDeleteI'm ready for sweater weather and antiques in the field at flea markets. Love caramel apples and pumpkin patches, the smell of wood fires and the feel of wool (plaid) blankets on your lap at a football game under the lights!
ReplyDeleteThere are so many things to love about the fall. Your trees are gorgeous by your pond.
Such pretty pics!

Have fun on your little getaway!
Oh goodness, that red leafed one is truly magnificent! What I particularly love are the leaves, as you know my love of nature. And this year, well late in October anyway, I'll have the four seasons I love in the little blue house!

You took some fabulous pictures last Fall Kim. You know it is my favorite time of year, can't get here fast enough!
ReplyDeleteI remember some of those from last year, Kim! Gorgeous. I am hanging onto summer just a bit longer. We had a short, cold summer this year...I feel like we got cheated...but I do love FALL the best! Hope you have a nice weekend-xo Diana
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! Looking forward to fall here too.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the holiday weekend! ~ Sarah
What beautiful photos you took with your "old" camera! I bet this year's photos will be even more spectacular. Can't wait for cooler weather and all that accompanies it. Hoping you are having a great little getaway.
ReplyDeleteI adore Fall, wearing DIFFERENT clothing, boots, scarves....and decorating for Fall. These are my colors!!! I HATE cleaning up the leaves and we ahve BILLIONS being surrounded by trees:(:( It is back breaking and lasts for weeks and weeks..... Your pics are gorgeous! XO, Pinky
ReplyDeleteGreat Fall color from last year. I think we're supposed to get rain tomorrow, so keep your fingers crossed.. I'm ready for Fall although I haven't done much decorating.
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend,
Babs
Stunning pics of a glorious Fall!!! It is of course my very fav season....cool, crisp, wonderful smells, crunchy leaves underfoot, cider, apple pie, pork roast, wool plaid jacket, hiking boots, birds migrating, cloudy skies and a riot of colors.....bring it on!!!

ReplyDeleteThese photos make my soul sing! I can't wait for fall days and cozy nights. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI'm still in summer mode right now but I'm ready for some fall!! Great photos Kim!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE fall...my favorite time of the year. I've started a few fall vignettes around the house this weekend...I just couldn't wait! I love the crisp air, brilliant colored leaves, the smell of baking something with cinnamon, wrapped in quilts, drives in the country looking at foilage, hearty soups, Halloween and Thanksgiving and a loving family and friends. Hope you and Mr Savvy have a great weekend getaway! Love all you share....Kathi
