This is the vintage orchard basket I picked up at a local flea/antique store a couple of months ago. It has such great patina that developed over time.
It is filled with all kinds of pumpkins, gourds, dried naturals, autumn leaves, raffia, and a couple of artichokes thrown in for good measure. Not sure what they have to do with fall, but they're in there. I filled the basket with a lot of grocery bags first since this is very deep and then just placed each piece here and there and stuffed in the leaves and raffia so they overflowed out the sides. Very easy to create this.
I love placing things in front of this mirror and getting a reflection of it.
Next to the basket is my squirrel that I found somewhere last year. I filled his little dish with a birch wrapped candle and some acorns. He sits high and mighty on some vintage books.
Squirrel is so proud of himself holding up the nuts and candle. See him smiling?
Close up of the handle.
Now on to the porch.
Happy fall y'all

I use two of them (a larger one and a smaller one) in the pantry as potatoe and onion bins. Not only is that a place to keep the baskets until I want them for decorating purposes but they also serve a purpose the rest of the year.
